Obama Momentum Maintaining

Obama has now won the past ten primaries and caucuses in a row, with wins in Wisconsin and Hawaii, and is steadily gaining momentum among the voters who typically have supported Clinton. If he can produce wins in Ohio and Texas it is likely that the race will be too far gone for Clinton to have a chance at securing the nomination. There have been a lot of attacks recently against Obama by both Hillary Clinton and John McCain saying that while he speeches are good and the people can see that, he lacks any substance in terms of policy issues. In response via an e-mail sent out by Barack Obama, he states

They(the voters) rejected an onslaught of negative attacks and attempts to distract them from the common concerns we all have about the direction of our country.

No doubt we’ll hear much more of these attacks and distractions in the days to come.

But the noise of these tired, old political games will not drown out the voices of millions calling for change.

This seems to be what the people are rallying for, a new completely different kind of politics from the divisive, partisan politics of the past 50 years. Not only do these attacks discourage voters they also are completely unfounded. On the Obama website he has every policy issue covered extensively, the only thing is his speeches do not reflect this and it does not get as much coverage as his charisma, and candor. I think that McCain and Clinton should do a little homework before releasing these negative attacks.
